Tours on Monday August 10th and Wednesday August 12th.

The tour on Monday morning August 10th is a Jerusalem Panorama Tour of the Old City.
This is a great way to get to know the Old City of Jerusalem. Soak up the atmosphere in a city that is at once ancient and modern, spiritual and down to earth, Middle Eastern and European. Jerusalem has five thousand years of history and is holy to Jews, Christians and Muslims. You will walk through oriental bazaars, visit some of the major holy and historic sites and view magnificent panoramas over the city.
We will meet just outside the Jaffa Gate Monday August 10th at 9.30am.  Entrance fee of NIS 7 on this tour.

On Wednesday August 12th the tour is called Quarters With Porous Boundaries: when Jews lived in the Muslim Quarter.
Is the Old City of Jerusalem divided into four quarters each with its own population? It sounds neat and tidy but it was never as simple as that. Populations have moved from place to place and the boundaries of the “quarters” have always been fluid and porous. This tour follows the story of the many Jewish homes, businesses and institutions to be found in the Moslem Quarter between 1850 and 1936.
We will meet at the bus stop in the car park of the Jewish Quarter. (Bus 38) on Wednesday August 12th at 2.30pm.

These are 2-3 hour tours and will cost NIS 60 each plus entrance fees.  Please let me know by phone or email if you hope to join one of these tours.
