I'm offering three tours this week..

Monday November 30th's tour is a little different.  Orthodox churches are amongst the oldest Christian institutions in Jerusalem. We will see historic and richly decorated buildings, learn a little of their history and experience their liturgy as we visit Eastern Churches in the Old City.
We shall meet just outside the Jaffa Gate at 1.30 pm.

On the morning of Wednesday December 2nd we shall tour the Temple Mount.  The Temple Mount is holy to Jews, Muslims and Christians. We shall explore the history and significance of this important and controversial site and see some of the buildings which occupy it today.
We'll meet at 8.00 am just inside the Dung Gate (Bus lines 1, 2, 3, 38).  Please wear modest clothing for this tour and do not bring prayer books, bibles, tefillin or any religious books or articles.

In the afternoon on  Wednesday 2nd December we'll tour Ramat Rachel.  From the days of King Hezekiah to the Six Day War this strategic hilltop offers 2,700 years of history and amazing views over Jerusalem.
We'll meet at 1.30 pm at the entrance to the Ramat Rachel Hotel (Bus No.7).

Each tour lasts 2-3 hours and costs NIS 60 per person plus any site entry fees.  There are site entry fees of NIS 5 on Monday's tour.  Please register in advance 054-647-8955 or tourwithjack@gmail.com if you wish to join one of these tours.
