The week after Pesach - new tour for Erev Yom Hashoah

On Monday April 16th take A Walk on the Walls of the Old City from the Jaffa Gate to the Damascus Gate. Starting at the Jaffa Gate you'll follow the Ramparts Walk to the Damascus Gate and see the Old City and beyond from a whole new perspective. You'll walk through the colorful local markets on your way back to the Jaffa Gate where the tour ends.
Meet at 9.30 a.m. just outside the Jaffa Gate. 
 
Yad Vashem is the world's major Jewish Holocaust memorial site. This tour on Wednesday April 18th, Erev Yom Hashoah, will take you to monuments and memorials in the grounds of Yad Vashem that reflect different aspects of the Holocaust and the way in which attitudes towards it have changed in the State of Israel over the past six decades.
Meet at 9.30 a.m. in the entrance foyer of the Yad Vashem visitors' centre.
 
Please note that the schedule is subject to change and that walking tours will only take place if a minimum of three people have registered. Registration in advance is required. Call 054-647-8955 or email tourwithjack@gmail.com . Don't forget to wear comfortable shoes and to bring hats and water. Each walking tour lasts 2-3 hours and costs NIS 70 plus entry fees. There is a site entry fee of NIS 16 on Monday's tour.
