On Monday February 13th explore the Southern Wall Excavations. Herod's magnificent Temple was destroyed in the year 70 CE. Now a beautiful archaeological park sits at the foot of the Temple Mount with remains that span some 3,000 years of Jerusalem's history. It includes the Solomonic wall and gatehouse recently excavated and described by Eilat Mazar .
Meet at 9.30 a.m. just inside the Dung Gate.
