Ramat Rachel is so much more than a kibbutz.  It is a strategic hilltop with amazing views over Jerusalem and a history that spans 2,700 years.  Our tour here on Monday March 5th will take you to a First Temple palace, a Second Temple Jewish village, a Roman villa, a Byzantine church and monastery, trenches from the War of Independence and a Jordanian bunker from the Six Day War.
Meet at 9.30 a.m. at the entrance to the Ramat Rachel Hotel (Bus No.7).

Our tour on Wednesday March 7th follows the story of poor families from Kurdistan and Persia, the Yemen and Syria who set out on the long and difficult journey to Jerusalem and settled in Nachlaot - The Far Side
Meet at 9.30 a.m. outside Ima's Restaurant at the corner of Agrippas Street and Ben Zvi Boulevard.
