Jack is Touring Again

posted Dec 25, 2009, 1:34 AM by Jack Cadranel
I am happy to tell you that, after having had to cancel the past two weeks' tours because of illness, I shall be guiding again next week.  My thanks to all of you for your patience and your kind good wishes.

The tour on Monday December 28th is called Europe Builds Jerusalem.  In the 19th century, the European powers gave Jerusalem some of its most impressive buildings – hospitals, churches, post offices, and more. They weren’t just being generous! We'll walk from the Anglican Compound to the Italian Hospital and get the low-down on what they built and why and on their impact on Jewish Jerusalem.
We shall meet just outside the Jaffa Gate at 9.30 am.

On Wednesday December 30th we'll explore the Southern Wall Excavations.  Herod's magnificent Temple was destroyed by the Romans in the Year 70 CE.  At its feet lie remains that span 2000 years of Jerusalem's history.  Come and explore!
We'll meet at 9.30 am just inside the Dung Gate.

Each of these tours lasts 2-3 hours and costs NIS 60 per person plus site entry fees.  There are site entry fees of NIS 10 per person on Monday's tour and NIS 30 per person on Wednesday.  Please register in advance 054-647-8955 or
