Rates and Conditions

Publicly advertised walking tours are open to everyone.  Each of them lasts 2-3 hours and costs 70 Israeli shekels plus site entrance fees.  Participants are asked to register in advance by contacting 054-647-8955 or tourwithjack@gmail.com .
 
Bus tours are open to everyone.  Bookings are accepted on a first come first served basis and are secured by payment.  Payment must be made in advance unless otherwise agreed.  
 
Private tours are individually designed to meet each client's needs and interests.

Rates for private tours:

  • 700 Israeli shekels plus VAT per half day tour - up to four hours.
  • 1,400 Israeli shekels plus VAT per full day tour - up to eight hours.
For private tours I charge for my time irrespective of the number of people on the tour.  The prices do not include entrance fees to sites, the cost of refreshments or of transportation.  Many of the major sites in Jerusalem do not charge entrance fees.
 
Cancellation policy for private tours and for bus tours:
  • Tours can be cancelled more than 10 days prior to the tour at no charge.
  • From 10 days before the tour up to 48 hours before the planned start cancellation will incur a charge of 50% of the price.
  • Within 48 hours of the planned start of the tour all bookings are considered to be final and will be charged at full price.

General conditions:

  • Payment should be made on or before the day of the tour unless otherwise agreed.
  • Payments can be made in cash or by cheque in Israeli shekels, US dollars of pounds sterling.
  • It is not possible to accept payment by credit card or debit card.
  • Payments in US dollars or sterling will be accepted at the currency exchange rates published by the Bank of Israel that are current at the time of payment.
For your own comfort and safety:
  • Please check the level of difficulty of the tour when you register or book.
  • Please let me know as soon as possible about the special needs of any members of your group or any special considerations that I should bear in mind when planning or guiding the tour.
  • Please wear comfortable shoes and bring hats, sunscreen and water for these tours.
