On Monday July 29th Join me in a new and special tour which offers you a glimpse into the world of Hassidic Jews in Jerusalem.

We shall leave the Old Train Station by bus at 12.00 noon. The afternoon includes:

  • A tour of the Belz Synagogue and World Centre.
  • A visit to the graves of Gerer rebbes in the centre of Jerusalem.
  • A visit to Kerem Avraham - built by the British Consul James Finn in 1855 to give employment to poor Jews and now the home of a school run by Karlin-Stolin Hassidim. We shall tour the building and have the chance to discuss Hassidism and the Hassidic life with a senior representative of the Karlin-Stolin community. Questions are welcome.

We shall return to the Old Train Station at approximately 5.00pm. The entire tour will be in English. The price is 135 shekels per person and includes all entry fees and transport costs. Modest dress is required. The tour will only take place if a minimum number of people register in advance. Please contact me to register as soon as possible - email to jack@tourwithjack.com or call 054-647-8955.
